I have a free human body unit study. Also, I have this Human Body Crafts page for more hands-on ideas.
Taa, daa. It’s here. The completed human body lapbook. Have you been following along as we did our huge human body lapbook and unit study?
We have had a ton of fun with our human body unit study and today, I want to give you one more minibook about the eye and some clip art to go on the outside of the book.
First, did you notice we turned this lapbook landscape?
Human Body Lapbook
The human body lapbook was free for a limited time.
It was so big and we used a legal size file folder too. So we added all the books we did inside and the pictures above will help you to see where we placed our books.
Of course, like I always say, you can use as many of mine as you want to and mix and match other things you want so that the lapbook reflects what you want to teach your kids.
That is one reason I also share my minibooks separately. Sometimes you want to mix and match.
Too, we added one more picture, which is a visual labeling the different parts of the eye and we simply glued that onto our page because this unit was getting big for us.
Tiny was ready to move on to another topic, but I wanted to be sure he was familiar with the parts of the eye too.
Don’t you just love it when you have way more activities to do and then just have to stop so that you can move on?
Also, I created several different pieces to decorate the outside of the lapbook flaps.
You can use any free color pages or use these three pieces of a cover page I have below.
Also, I included body clip art with the name of the organ above it.
Tiny wrote in the name of the organ, colored it and he cut them out to place on the outside of his lapbook. I include a few other decorative pieces to go on the outside flap of your lapbook.
I hope you love them and I hope you love this unit study as much as we have.
You can download the lapbook below.

Just an idea, instead of squeezing it onto a lapbook, you could always make a scrapbook of the body and have a page dedicated to each body system. That would give you more space, you can add on as many pages as you/they would like, and you can still put all of your mini books in there. I think I am going to try that this year with my 7th graders.

That is true Connie..we didn’t want to make this a large unit so we were glad to cover what we did. It was more of a review, but the idea of having each page for that is great. You can certainly add to it.♥

I can not find the link for the body lapbook. I am having a hard time 🙁 Help please, Thank you.
Tina Robertson says
Hi Rosemarie,
Sorry you’re having a hard time. The links are right there on the page at the bottom? Do you see them? I have all of them there for you♥
Do you see where I say “Grab all of the lapbook printables and hands-on activities below.” Go to the end of the page…I hope you scrolled down far enough♥

They’re all there on the page. Sorry you’re having trouble. I don’t do ONE huge download. As I prepare each minibook I have a post on my site and all the links are there at the bottom of my page. Thanks..

Love your unit, we just started our human body unit study about a month ago so this will help us tremendously! I can’t tell what order you did your study though, although I have found one of your sections which label it your second hands-on activity. I would love to know what order you used although I may not follow it. It would be nice to see what order someone else used. I especially LOVE the hands-on activities for my kinetic learner! thanks so much for those!

Hey Edwina,
Glad you’re here and yes we loved this unit study. You can really do it any order because we did the hands-on activity, did a minibook or two then last thing added all the minibooks to the lapbook. But the order I did was
1) made a fun diy stethoscope because most kids associate that immediately
2) then the heart pump
3) then the bones
4)then making blood
then added in something else fun
5)- the edible skin
then reading the books on the book list in between ♥

Hi Tina, Kendra here. Is this Human Body for 8th and 9th graders and does it include the study of the Blood? That’s what he’s interested in right now. Thank you
Tina Robertson says
Hey Kendra,
Great to have you. For this kid, he focused on a whole body study and we just touched on that subject. He used the complete body book and read about blood, but no it’s not just a study on blood. I want to go back and do lapbooks for each system for the older kids, kwim?
He was middle school at the time but doing high school work. I felt like he needed more of an overview we did a whole body approach. Hope that helps.♥
