For winter homeschooling, I have  some sweet ocean themed hands-on activities to go along with those freebies. Also, look at my page Winter Season Unit Study Free Lapbook & Hands-On Ideas for more ideas during the winter.

And look at my Oceans Unit Study and Lapbook for more ocean themed ideas.

Looking to the ocean for craft ideas during the winter months can bring a refreshing sense of wonder into your routine.

Even if you live miles from the coast, the sea offers an endless well of inspiration—full of color, texture, mystery, and life.

For example, questions like what kinds of creatures live in the deep, how do coral reefs form, and why are some fish brightly colored while others blend in.

Ocean-themed crafts naturally spark curiosity.

WOW. What a great week! I love the sea glass and the fish! It looks like your kids had a great time with all of this! And how simple it all is. I love it.

I used to live in Seattle, so this makes me miss home!

Thanks for sharing with #made4kids. Hope to see you back next week!!

      Hi Deanna,

I have never been to Seattle, but it’s on my list of must visit places.
We love doing things like this in the winter.
Thanks for scooting by today and for the fun link up. Have a super day.
